About me

Гайдамака Оля – сучасна художниця-ілюстраторка

I was born on November 28, 1990 in Kyiv.

I loved drawing since childhood. Everything around me — nature, people, emotions — found its way onto paper. My parents noticed my passion early and enrolled me in the Kyiv Art School named after M. D. Leontovych.

After school, I entered the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design. Painting for me is a way of self-expression, relaxation, and a means to convey my emotions.

I enjoy sports and fishing, love playing volleyball and chess. I read works by J.K. Rowling, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, and Yevheniia Kuznietsova. In music, I prefer ONUKA, Letexfauna, and Maryna Krut.

In 2015, I participated in the exhibition «Kyiv Day on Andriivskyi» presenting two works: «The Spinner» and «The Pitcher».

In 2016, my first solo exhibition «Soul of Ukraine» took place at the Taras Shevchenko Literary Memorial House-Museum in Kyiv.
