Olesya the Jellyfish and Her Dream

The text was written by my classmate Olena Zaremba — and it became my very first attempt to illustrate a whole book rather than a single drawing. It was a special experience: for the first time I had to think not about a single picture, but about a story that holds together as a whole — about a mood that runs through the pages, about characters who have to stay recognisable from spread to spread. All the illustrations are done in digital graphics. The book was never printed, but these drawings have stayed with me as a valuable experience — one of the facets of what I do alongside painting.
