Spiritual Heritage

The painting "Spiritual Heritage" depicts a bandura player who sings of military campaigns, the bravery of the Zaporozhian Cossacks, and the indomitable spirit of the Ukrainian people. For centuries, such singers preserved the spiritual gene pool of the nation, awakened its national consciousness, passed on thousand-year-old wisdom, revealed the truth of life, and called for action, unity, and the struggle against evil. It was not by chance that I painted a tree with enormous roots, for Ukraine has a great and glorious history that must be known and honored, because without a past there can be no future. In the sky I painted the Sun, the Moon, and the stars, which form a celestial family and watch over the Ukrainian world.
